Nepal is home to a network of trekking trails, commonly known as “Magnificent Himalayan Trails”. It is an extensive system that covers Nepal from Humla and Darchula in the far-west to Kanchenjunga in the east. The level of diversity of trekking in Nepal, cannot be found anywhere in the world. The best way to experience Nepal’s unbeatable combination of wonderful natural and cultural richness is to walk through the rhododendron forests, isolated hamlets and small mountain villages inhabited by friendly people from different cultures, offering a fascinating insight into traditional rural life. The trekking trails are filled with – birds, animals, temples, monasteries and landscapes. Trekking is possible at any time of the year but the most popular seasons for embarking on a trek in Nepal is during the Spring and the Fall season.
Kathmandu is a great religious city to visit. Pashupatinath, Boudha really beautiful. Also loved the nepali food and people are welcoming.
Watching the sun rise from the top of Poon Hill is one of the most special moments from me. Thanks to Legend of Himalaya for this amazing trek and helping visit around Kathmandu.
